What is the status of this Hadith?
عن علي رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب، قليله وكثيره
Answer
This narration is recorded in Musnad Abi Hanifah on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The narrators are reliable.
Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “[Foster relationships are treated like blood relationships], regardless of whether the amount suckled was much or little.”
(Musnad Abi Hanifah, Riwayatul Haskafi, Hadith: 282)
The first portion of this Hadith is also recorded in many other Hadith collections including Sahih Bukhari (Hadith: 2645)

صحيح البخاري:
(٢٦٤٥) – حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم، حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، عن جابر بن زيد، عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما، قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في بنت حمزة: «لا تحل لي، يحرم من الرضاع ما يحرم من النسب، هي بنت أخي من الرضاعة».
