Is this true, that Allah Ta’ala hates divorce?
Answer
Yes this is correct.
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is reported to have said:
“The most detestable of all permissible deeds to Allah is divorce.”
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 2170-2171, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 2018 and Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 2, pg. 196)
This Hadith is suitable to quote.
