Question
If a person recites Surah Shams he will get the reward of giving sadaqah of everything that sunlight and moonlight has ever touched [i.e., whatever this world contains]
Is this Hadith true?
Answer
This narration is part of the lengthy fabricated Hadith which mentions a virtue of reciting the various Surahs of the Quran.
The Muhaddithun have declared this narration a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.
