Question
Kindly provide the reference for the following Hadith:
“When you lead the prayer, you should make it short, because among those offering Salah there may be some who are infirm, sick, and old…”

Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in his Sahih.

(٧٠٣) – حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، قال: أخبرنا مالك، عن أبي الزناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إذا صلى أحدكم للناس، فليخفف، فإن منهم الضعيف والسقيم والكبير، وإذا صلى أحدكم لنفسه فليطول ما شاء».
