Question
Is this narration authentic?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “When the weather becomes extremely hot, seek aid in cupping (hijamah), do not allow your blood to rage (boil) such that it kills you.”
Answer
Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu).
(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 4, pg. 212)
Imam Hakim has declared the Hadith authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi concurs.

حدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الشيباني، حدثنا إبراهيم بن عبد الله السعدي، حدثنا محمد بن القاسم الأسدي، حدثنا الربيع بن صبيح، عن الحسن، عن أنس، رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا اشتد الحر فاستعينوا بالحجامة لا تبيغ دم أحدكم فيقتله».
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد ولم يخرجاه.
