Question
I have heard some people say “Fi Amanillah” when they bidding farewell. Does this come in any Hadith?
Answer
I have not come across this du’a to recite when bidding farewell. However, one may recite this du’a without deeming it Sunnah, as the meaning is excellent.
The meaning is “[Go] in the protection of Allah Ta’ala.”
