What is the correct pronunciation of the following Hadith?
تهادوا تحابوا
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Give gifts to each other, you will love each other”
Answer
Mulla ‘Ali Al Qari (rahimahullah) writes regarding the pronunciation of تهادوا: “With a fathah on the ta (ت) and dal (د) without a tashdid”
And regarding تحابوا: ‘With a fathah on ta (ت), dhammah and tashdid on ba (ب). i.e., تَهَادَوْا تَحَابُّوا

Note: The commentators have also mentioned other possible pronunciations.
