Question
Kindly provide the reference for this Hadith:
«من دعا إلى هدى، كان له من الأجر مثل أجور من تبعه، لا ينقص ذلك من أجورهم شيئا، ومن دعا إلى ضلالة، كان عليه من الإثم مثل آثام من تبعه، لا ينقص ذلك من آثامهم شيئا»
Answer
Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith in his Sahih. The Hadith is also recorded in other books of the Sihah Sittah.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever invites others to guidance/good will receive a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any way and whoever calls others to misguidance/sin will bear a sin equal to that of those who follow him, without their sin being reduced.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2674)
