Nabi ‘Isa (‘alayhis salam) said:
“The seeker of the world is like one who drinks from the sea; The more he drinks, the thirstier he becomes, until it eventually kills him.”
Answer
This narration is recorded in Dhammud Dunya of Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya and Al Mujalasah wa Jawahirul ‘ilm.
‘Isa (‘alayhis salam) said: “The seeker of the world is like one who drinks from the sea; The more he drinks, the thirstier he becomes, until it eventually kills him.”
(Dhammud Dunya: 342, Al Mujalasah wa Jawahirul ‘ilm: 1418)
