Question
What is the source of this Hadith?
“And know that victory [help/assistance] comes through patience and that the grant [relief] comes after the affliction [distress].”
Answer
This is part of a lengthy narration in which Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) offered several advices to Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).

Declared authentic (hasan sahih) by Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah).
