Is this narration authentic
Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said: “O Messenger of Allah, Allah has not granted you any honour except that He has included us in it. Thereafter, it was revealed:
“Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Nabi [Surah Ahzab, Verse: 56]…”
Answer
‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) has referenced this to Tafsir Kashshaf and states that he has not found any basis for this narration. The narration should not be quoted until it can be sourced and then verified.
