Question
Is this Hadith authentic?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Those who sent the most salutations [durud] upon me, will have the most number of wives in Jannah”
Answer
‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) states that he has not come across any chain for this narration.
(Al Qawlul Badi’, pg. 273)
The Hadith should not be quoted until the chain can be located and then verified.

ويروى عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال: «أكثركم عليّ صلاة أكثركم أزواجا في الجنة».
ذكره صاحب «الدر المنظم» لكني لم أقف عليه إلى الآن.
