Is this narration suitable to quote?
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) went to the marketplace. He passed by a young girl who was singing and said, “If Shaytan were to spare anyone, he would have spared this girl.”

This narration has been recorded by Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) in Al Adabul Mufrad and by Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) in Dhammul Malahi as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The narration is suitable to quote.
Imam ‘Abdullah ibn Dinar (rahimahullah) said: “I went out with Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) to the marketplace. He passed by a young slave girl who was singing. Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) commented: ‘If Shaytan were to leave anyone alone, he would have left this girl alone.’”

In Al Adabul Mufrad, this narration appears under the chapter regarding singing and futile amusements, which distract one from the obedience of Allah.
What is meant by the statement of Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) is that, despite her young age, Shaytan had still influenced her to sing, which in turn will be a source of fitna.
