Raising the Finger/Head When Reciting the Du’a After Wudu

Question

Is it established in any authentic Hadith to raise the Shahadah finger when reciting the Shahadatayn after Wudu?

Answer

I have not come cross any narration that encourages raising the Shahadah finger while reciting the du’a.

However numerous Muhaddithun have recorded a narration which states that one should raise ones head/eyes towards the sky when reading the shahadah after wudu. This Hadith (i.e., raising the eyes/head) is suitable for practice.
