Question
What is the authenticity of this Hadith?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “There are some men who misappropriate Allah’s wealth [such as the funds of the Muslim state, Zakah etc.], the Fire will be their destination on the Day of Qiyamah.”
Answer
Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyidah Khawlah Al Ansariyyah (radiyallahu ‘anha). The narration is therefore authentic.
