Woe to the One Whose Belly Is His Biggest Concern

I have not come across this as a Hadith of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya has recorded this as the statement of ‘Umar ibn Abdul ‘Aziz (rahimahullah).

(Kitabul Ju’, Hadith: 222)

Translation

Woe to the one whose belly is his biggest concern

 

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
